| Peter Scheuer Jensen is the new CEO of SAM Headhunting Group A/S | ||
| The board of the SAM Headhunting Group has appointed Peter Scheuer Jensen as the new CEO of the company. He replaces Niels Schreiner Andersen, who now functions as the Chairman of the Board. Although it is six months earlier than initially anticipated, the change took place in full agreement among all parties involved. International Management experience Peter Scheuer Jensen has been involved in management since the age of 19, when he was stationed to the Democratic Republic of Congo in central Africa as a trainee, and had the responsibility for several hundred workers and vehicles. It was also the starting point of a career focused on logistics, sales and management. Since being stationed in DR Congo, he has also lived in Germany, and he has managed sales in most European and African markets. Prior to joining SAM Headhunting last year, Peter Scheuer Jensen worked as the Sales and Marketing Director of Ejendomsinvest, a Copenhagen-based property investment group, and until assuming the responsibility as CEO on 26 May, he has functioned as a COO at group level. Taking over from the founder Besides welcoming Peter to the helm, the General Assembly also marked the day where Niels Schreiner Andersen stepped down from day-to-day overall management of the SAM Headhunting Group to become Chairman of the Board. Being the founder of the company, and therefore often describing it as his 5th child, there can be little doubt that 26 May 2009 will become a significant date in both his and the company’s history. Different person – same objectives Although the CEO is new, the objectives remain the same. SAM Headhunting is working to establish itself as a global headhunter.
